VPN Authentication Failed: How to Fix Login and IKEv2 Errors

An authentication error means the VPN server could not verify the credentials or identity presented by the device. It does not always mean that the password is wrong. Expired access, an old VPN profile, incorrect device time, or a certificate problem can produce a similar message.
1. Confirm the account and password
Sign in with the same email address used during registration. Type the password again rather than relying on an old saved value. Check capitalization and avoid accidental spaces.
2. Verify email and payment activation
Complete the email verification process and confirm that the VPN Pink account is active. A website login may succeed even when VPN access has not yet been activated.
3. Check date and time
Enable automatic date, time, and time zone settings. Certificates can be rejected when the device clock is significantly incorrect.
4. Remove obsolete VPN credentials
Old saved passwords, profiles, certificates, or keychain entries can override current credentials. Remove the VPN Pink profile through the app or system VPN settings and let the official app recreate it.
5. Update the app and operating system
Install current stable software. Updated VPN and certificate handling can resolve authentication failures after a system upgrade.
6. Try another location
If one location reports authentication errors but another works, note the affected server and time and send that information to support.
7. Do not repeatedly guess credentials
Repeated attempts may trigger temporary protection. Stop, confirm the account details, reset the password if necessary, and retry after a short wait.
IKEv2-specific checks
IKEv2 relies on a valid profile, server identity, credentials, and compatible network path. Do not manually change the server identity, remote identifier, or certificate settings unless VPN Pink support provides exact instructions.
Information for support
Send the platform, system version, app version, error text, location, and time. Never send a password, one-time code, private key, or complete payment details.
Summary
Confirm account activation, correct device time, current credentials, and a fresh VPN profile. These checks resolve most login and IKEv2 authentication failures.
