Manual VPN setup — WireGuard
Recommended: the VPN Pink app
Start with our VPN Pink app for your device. Manual setup is an alternative if the app cannot be used or you prefer your own VPN client.

Before you start
You need an active VPN entitlement. Use only a server assigned to your account. Signing into the website does not itself activate VPN access.
Find your VPN username, VPN password and assigned server in My Dashboard. The VPN password may differ from your website password. A customer reference is not your VPN username.
WireGuard uses a personal configuration file or QR code, not an IKEv2 username/password profile. Get it from the WireGuard section of your account; if unavailable, contact support. WireGuard →
Setup steps
- Sign into your account and obtain a separate WireGuard configuration for this device. Do not use another customer’s file.
- Install the official WireGuard client for your platform. Add/import a tunnel from your .conf file, or scan the QR code on a different trusted screen. Never upload the file or QR to public sites.
- On recent Ubuntu/Debian desktops, NetworkManager can import WireGuard without an extra VPN plugin. Alternatively use the official client for your system. Activate only one VPN tunnel at a time; to disconnect, switch that tunnel off.
If connection fails
Do not share passwords, private keys, tokens, QR codes or complete WireGuard configurations. Review logs before sharing.

Check that your system reports the tunnel connected, internet access works and your public IP has changed. Opening the app or importing a profile alone proves no connection.
